Sellers
Seller Agreement
Last updated: June 30, 2026
Approved sellers help set the tone for SaltyShelf. This agreement explains the minimum expectations for selling on the marketplace.
Seller Approval
Sellers must apply and receive approval before using seller tools. SaltyShelf may approve, reject, suspend, or request more information based on marketplace safety, policy compliance, and listing quality.
Minimum Seller Policy
Sellers must follow SaltyShelf's seller rules, marketplace rules, shipping policy, refund and dispute policy, livestock DOA policy, and prohibited items policy. Sellers may offer stronger buyer protections, but they may not offer less than SaltyShelf's minimum protections.
Accurate Listings
Sellers must provide current photos, honest descriptions, clear prices, accurate condition notes, and any material details that would affect a buyer's decision. Listings may be reviewed before going active.
Packing and Shipping
Sellers are responsible for safe packaging, choosing appropriate shipping timing, providing tracking when available, communicating delays, and avoiding shipments during unsafe weather or delivery windows.
Payments and Payouts
SaltyShelf does not currently offer live checkout or seller payouts. Future payment or payout tools may require additional onboarding, identity checks, payout rules, and payment provider terms.
